The life of your Barcode printer and the running costs are linked with how well you look after if. From a portable printer right up to a industrial label printer costing thousands a few minutes spent each day looking after the equipment will ensure your printer ribbons and your barcode printer give you the best possible results for as long as possible.

At the Barcode depot we have teamed up with Toshiba to provide you with the best solution to your printer cleaning requirements.
There are two kits one for metal cased printers such as the industrial label printer and the second kit is for plastic cased printers like the receipt printer or the desktop barcode printer.

Each kit comes with
Print head cleaning spray
Platen roller cleaning spray
And Wet / Dry cleaning cloths.
(The plastic kit also comes with an outer case foam spray).

Remember the cost of an unscannable barcode or the cost of a visit from an engineer far outweighs the cost of a cleaning kit.
Each kit can last up to 6 weeks dependant upon usage and environment.

• Keeping the printer and printhead clean will not only improve the life of the printhead it will keep the printed image as sharp as possible ensuring scannable barcodes are achieved for as long as possible.The kit has been designed to safely and effectively remove contaminants and build up from the printhead, platen roller, paper path and outer casings.
